The first impression (spacious lobby with friendly staff at the reception) did not disappoint us. The River view. Many small details such as daily cookies, real glasses and mugs in the room also contributed to the great overall impression. We would choose it again at any time.
Location was amazing - view on the water was incredible. Loved all the pillows on the bed. Staff was friendly and ready to help in any way. Room was very clean and decor was pleasing.
Service for breakfast was very slow - food was good - waited over 30 minutes to be served. Wish we could have purchased water in plastic bottles for our day trips and for our room. When we asked we were offered only a large glass bottle for purchase. Saturday night's wedding was very loud - we were on the 4th floor and could hear the music until very late.
Very convenient to Red Bank & Fair Haven. Great view of the river.
We booked a king bed room. However, they provided a room with two small beds. I spoke with them and they had no other room. Only with a complaint they offered $20 off. I was not happy about this!
Desk clerk couldn't find our online confirmation, but handled the situation with finesse.
Room size, river view
The view and location. The room was very nice.
Would be better if we could have used the Molly Pitcher pool
Hotel rooms have a great view of the Navesink river and sunrise is amazing. Town of Red Bank,NJ is close by with restaurants and shops. Also, beach is a very short drive. Hotel looks as I they renovated the rooms with a modern decor and colors with floor to ceiling windows overlooking water. Very well done. Rooms are very spacious.
I liked the location, the room was nice and the staff was friendly.
It was very distrubing to wake up my lawn mowers/blowers and construction of some sort going on directly outside of our window. They started this work so early in the morning. It was really annoying to have to be woken up by such loud noise.
The location of the hotel right on the river, the views from our room and the furnishings. Our breakfast was excellent the staff was extremely nice.
the bathroom was very small.
Modern rooms and great location. I did have an errant charge on my room bill, but the staff resolved fairly quickly and did not challenge it.
Could hear noise from all around - outside and in the hallways. Room smelled like it was freshly painted and the paint smell was too strong.
I like that its a great hotel for adults. If you are looking for a place just to chill and get away for one night well this is the place. It was basic and not too heavy. The bar/lounge and restaurant was cute and simple. If you are looking to check in, relax at the bar at night, wake up in the morning for breakfast over looking the river and not looking to be bothered with overly done hotel. . . this is the place.
A few things I did not like. There should be a frig in every room. It would of been nice to have maybe a small kitchen in the hotel where guess can use to maybe warm up food etc. so if you go out to eat . .. sorry folks no leftovers. The pictures in the ad can mislead your eyes to see bigger. Although the design in the room is modern and the room still felt a little to small and cold. We got room service early that night. We left it outside the door. The next early morning we were awoken from a loud noise. We got up to see what happen, noticed the food was kicked over and our check out slip on the floor. You would think that person would of taken it down. It was left there. The windows had a draft too.
